The Reluctant Viking [2008]
Our 2nd Derby International Film Festival, LIFT (Learning Innovation Film Talent) celebrated Derby's creative media edge. Extended to an eight-day programme, the festival included an array of films, presentations, workshops and events, focusing on three themes: A) Sound & Music B) Local to Global and C) Science, Technology & Heritage.
One of the major festival highlights was the world film premier of 'Ghosts in the Machine,' produced by local employee, Rolls-Royce.
Festival team: Mab Akhter (Festival Director), Adam Robertson (Technical Manager), Juliette Winter (Programme Manager) and Charlie Sen ('Local to Global' Lead).
